NN CDC Pensioenfonds’ Annual Report for 2016 summarises a period during which the pension fund’s (policy) funding ratio declined, its investment policy was reviewed and its governance structure was modified. Moreover, the social partners decided to modify the calculation method for contributions made to the pension fund.

NN CDC Pensioenfonds’ funding ratios as at 31 May 2017 are known. The funding ratio is 114% and the policy funding ratio is 107%.

The Dutch Central Bank (DNB) approves NN CDC Pensioenfonds’ recovery plan to restore its policy funding ratio to a level that exceeds the policy funding ratio within a timeframe of up to ten years to the required minimum of 120%.

NN Academy's first edition of the workshop ‘Insight into your pension’ was held on 18 April. The initiative followed from the desire of the employer, NN Group, and the pension funds, NN CDC Pensioenfonds and Pensioenfonds ING, to help employees understand their pension with the aid of the Pension Planner. One of the workshop participants commented: ‘I never thought it would be so easy, nor did I realise we had such a good pension plan.’
