NN CDC Pensioenfonds tries to increase pensions of current and former NN employees and pensioners each year, in line with the price index. An increase will not be granted for 2019. The omitted increase may be granted in a future year.

NN CDC Pensioenfonds has raised its standard retirement age from 67 to 68 with effect from 1 January 2020. That doesn’t mean you’ll need to continue working until you turn 68 – early retirement will still be allowed from the age of 60.

From 1 January 2020, former Delta Lloyd employees participate in the pension plan administered by NN CDC Pensioenfonds. This means that from that date these employees build up a pension in NN CDC Pensioenfonds, based on a standard retirement age of 68 years.

NN CDC Pensioenfonds’ funding ratios as at 30 November 2019 are known. The funding ratio is 106% and the policy funding ratio is 109%.

Interest rates have declined substantially in 2019. As a result, NN CDC Pensioenfonds will cut back the pension accrual by 17.20% in 2020. Low interest rates are making pension accrual a lot more expensive.

The financial results of the second quarter of 2019 are available. The total return on investment was +7.6%. Compared to the second quarter, the funding ratio decreased from 109% to 104%. The policy funding ratio decreased from 114% to 111%.
