A new interface was recently launched to connect the ‘My Account’ environments of the NN Group and ING pension funds. As a pension fund participant, you can now see your pension entitlements in multiple pension funds and make adjustments through a single point of access. The interface, also called a ‘shell’, was developed to address the wish expressed by the participants, the employers and the pension funds to simplify pension-related matters.
NN CDC Pensioenfonds, ING CDC Pensioenfonds and Pensioenfonds ING have taken another important step towards making pensions easier to access and understand. The ‘My Account’ environments of these pension funds are now connected to each other through a shell. When you have logged in using your DigiD, you will automatically see a list of the pension funds in which you have pension entitlements. From there, you can access all of your self-service pension accounts.
Select a pension fund
On the Start page, you can select which pension fund you want to visit. There, you will see news items and documents posted for you and you can open your Uniform Pension Overview (UPO) to check your pension entitlements. It's self-service, so you can change your profile and e-mail address or enter a new home address. If you have pension entitlements in multiple pension funds, you will only need to enter your changes once.
Joint effort
Since the CDC pension funds were launched on 1 January 2014, many employees, former employees and pensioners participate in multiple pension funds via their employer. To make their pension better accessible, the pension funds work together to serve these people where possible. For example, the Pension Planner went live for all pension funds in July 2015. This online tool is also accessible via ‘My Pension’ and enables employees and former employees to check the progress of their pension entitlements and how some of their choices could affect their pension. The pension funds also provide joint workshops and presentations. The new interface is another step towards further collaboration.
