This week, employees of ING Verzekeren/IM will receive important personal pension information of NN CDC Pensioenfonds. The information contains the Uniform Pension Overview (UPO) and a letter.

Today, the annual pension survey of NN CDC Pensioenfonds kicks off. A selected group of employees of NN Group will receive an online invitation to take part. For the first time, the questionnaire is available in English.

NN CDC Pensioenfonds publishes quarterly reports on its website, providing information on the fund’s financial position, its investments, its communications and its management decisions during the reported quarter.

The Pension Planner went live in July. This handy tool lets you check online whether your total pension accrual is on track. You can also check what would happen to your pension if you made certain decisions. The Pension Planner puts you in the driver’s seat.

NN CDC Pensioenfonds’ funding ratios as at 31 July 2015 are known. The funding ratio is 112% and the policy funding ratio is 121%.

With effect from 15 July 2015, the Dutch Central Bank (DNB) has implemented a new method to determine the actuarial interest rate that is used to calculate the value of pension funds’ commitments. DNB claims the new method is more realistic, as it is more aligned to the actual development of the interest rate. Under the new calculation method, NN CDC Pensioenfonds’ funding ratio on 15 July 2015 is 8.1% lower than it would have been under the old method. The fund may have to submit a recovery plan to DNB later this year.
