From 1 January 2020, former Delta Lloyd employees participate in the pension plan administered by NN CDC Pensioenfonds. This means that from that date these employees build up a pension in NN CDC Pensioenfonds, based on a standard retirement age of 68 years.
In 2019, the social partners (employer and trade unions) agreed on the terms and conditions of the pension plan applying from 1 July 2019 to 31 December 2021. One of the agreements made was that former Delta Lloyd employees would become participants of that pension plan with effect from 1 January 2020.
Standard retirement age of 68
There is one difference between NN CDC Pensioenfonds’ pension plan and Delta Lloyd Pensioenfonds’ 2019 pension plan: with effect from 1 January 2020, the standard retirement age is 68. Participants can still opt for early retirement from the age of 60. Click here to read more about the pension plan.
Two pension funds
From 1 January 2020, former Delta Lloyd employees have pensions in two funds: NN CDC Pensioenfonds and Delta Lloyd Pensioenfonds. These employees will no longer build up pension in Delta Lloyd Pensioenfonds, but in NN CDC Pensioenfonds instead. The pension they’ve already built up in Delta Lloyd Pensioenfonds will be retained in that fund. In February, both pension funds will inform the participants about this.
