On 4 January 2022, Mila Kisoen was appointed to the managing board of NN CDC Pensioenfonds, as a representative of trade union CNV Vakmensen. Mila’s areas of focus are Balance Sheet Management and Pension, Communication & Governance. She is also member of the complaints and disputes committee.
What professional experience does Mila bring to the board?
In her capacity of member of the pension fund’s managing board on behalf of CNV Vakmensen, Mila represents several industry groups. In her work as an actuary and an investment analyst, Mila has gained a wealth of experience in asset & liability management, pension and investments, as well as lots of hands-on experience in the Netherlands, at the Dutch central bank (DNB), insurance companies Aegon and NN Group, and in Norway at oil fund NBIM.
Goals and challenges
Mila: “A good and affordable pension for later in life is a valuable asset that we must foster. There will be lots of challenges, but also new opportunities, when the pension fund starts executing the pension plan under the new pension system. Pensions will be more customised, facilitating personal preferences in areas such as investment risk. At the same time, all these options mean more responsibility for the participant. That's why it's very important that the individual participant feels adequately informed to make the right decisions in the complex world of pensions and investments. This is where the pension fund has an important role to play. I’m eager to take on the challenge!”
