Whom can I contact if I have any questions about my pension?

When will my pension benefits be paid out?
Around the 23 rd day of each month.
If my situation changes (e.g. I move abroad), what action do I need to take?
You must report this to NN CDC Pensioenfonds. We will check each year whether your personal details are still up to date and whether you are still alive. We will send you the form ‘Attestatie de vita’ (Dutch only) for this purpose. Click also here for more information on moving abroad.
If my relationship ends after my pension has started, will the amounts of my pension benefits change?
Yes, the amounts will change. Your ex-partner will be entitled to one-half of the pension that you accrued over the years of your marriage. This does not apply if you agreed differently in your divorce settlement, although this could be subject to certain conditions. Please contact the Pension Desk about this.
If I start a new relationship after my pension has started, will my new partner be eligible for partner pension?
If you get married, sign a registered partnership agreement or start a joint household with someone after the date of your pension, your new partner will not be entitled to any partner pension.
Can I choose any pension options that will affect the amounts of my pension benefits after my pension has started?
No, this is not possible once your pension has started.
I wish to receive my pension benefits on a different bank account. How can I arrange for this?
Send us an email or a letter containing the following details:
- Your full name and address
- Your former bank account number
- Your new bank account number
- The date you wish the change to take effect
- Your signature
- A copy of your personal identification
How much net worth of pension will I get?
If you want to know the amount of pension that will ultimately be paid out to you when of you stop working, consult the Pension Planner or the Uniform Pension Overview (UPO), which is sent to you once a year. You can also visit Mijnpensioenoverzicht.
What pension options are available to me?
There are several options you can make with regard to the amount of pension ultimately be paid out to you. The Pension Planner is a tool you can use to calculate the effect your choices will have on your old-age pension.

The start of your pension has consequences
- You will no longer build up pension.
- NN CDC Pensioenfonds will pay you old-age pension every month.
- From a certain age, you will receive old-age pension (AOW) from the state every month.
What does this mean for partner and orphans’ pension?
If you pass away, your partner will retain his/her right to partner pension in any of the following cases:
- You were married before your pension date.
- You entered into a registered partnership before your pension date.
- Your partner was registered with the pension fund and accepted by the fund before your pension date.
However, if you get married, enter into a registered partnership or register your partner with the pension fund after your pension has started, your partner will not be entitled to partner pension after you pass away.
Do you have any children who are not yet 18 years old? In that case, they will be entitled to orphans’ pension if you pass away. Children older than 18 may still be entitled to orphans’ pension if, for example, they go to college or run the family household. In any case, the right to receive orphans’ pension ends when your child turns 27.
Small pension
Is your pension accrual less than € 594.89 (2023) gross per year? The fund can transfer your entire pension to your bank account as a lump sum payment after your approval. This is referred to as commuting one’s pension (afkoop). You will be informed in advance. After your pension has been commuted, you will no longer have any pension in NN CDC Pensioenfonds.
If your pension is less than € 2 it will be cancelled altogether. After the transfer you will no longer have any pension in NN CDC Pensioenfonds
