Professional experience
Jorg held several management positions at NN Group, and before that at ING Group, in the field of Risk Management with exposure to financial risks, IT risks and strategic asset allocation.
Most important goal
Both pension funds pursue goals that I fully endorse, including a healthy balance between risk and return in their investment policies, and transparent and comprehensible communication with participants regarding their prospects and risks. All pension funds are currently facing major challenges in regulatory terms, such as the new national pension agreement, but also in terms of the financial markets, where interest rates are persistently low and inflation is rising, and in terms of the growing focus on risks such as IT risks and climate change. To me personally, it’s an enormous challenge to tackle all these issues using my past experience while at the same time intensifying and broadening my knowledge.
